Anchors resign on air [VIDEO], Two news anchors have resigned on air
on Maine TV, shocking viewers and the network they were working for.
Tony Consiglio and Cindy Michaels announced their
resignations at the end of Tuesday’s 6 p.m. newscast, citing a
longstanding battle with management at WVII and sister station WFVX.
Both
Consiglio, 28, and Michaels, 46, said frustration over the way they
were allowed or told to do their jobs — something that has been steadily
