Miley Cyrus gets pig for birthday [VIDEO], Miley Cyrus gets a pig for her
birthday, and PETA gets some donations to help their work with animals.
Cyrus turned 20 on Friday, and PETA went whole hog to mark the
occasion.
The group sponsored a rescued pig named Nora in honor of the former Hannah
Montana star, an outspoken animal rights advocate who recently mentioned that
she would love to adopt a pig.
Cyrus has tweeted her support of animal rights in the past, including passing
along a message from PETA asking people to boycott Wal-Mart for its treatment of
pigs.
The retailer has been accused of keeping pigs in confined spaces so tight
