Hurricane Sandy is currently a category 1 "Nor'ricane" that blasted
its way through the Bahamas and has been sliding up the eastern
seaboard.
Sandy is a large and dangerous system and poses a major threat to portions of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.
The latest projected path takes the center of Sandy into the Northeast coast between Cape May and Point Pleasant, New Jersey.
